DANCE BIZ was established in 1985. The studio offers many styles of dance for your learning experience. Lessons are available for the beginner through advanced and professional levels. Children's classes begin at 3 years old and we also offer many adult programs. Our classes are non-competitive in an enjoyable learning atmosphere. Our facility has two studios with suspended hardwood floors (34' x 30', 34'x 21') with A/C for summer classes. Studio Activities: We are now forming a Company Class. This will be an advanced program for a select group of serious-minded dancers. This first year, invitations to participate will be by teacher recommendation. Following years will be by audition. Forming a company class allows us to advance students by their skill levels. Proper level placement is beneficial for beginner and advanced dancers to build the skills and techniques for the entire class to progress. Benefits: Requirements: Class/Hours (Minimum) Senior Company 14 - 18 yrs. 4 (Ballet/Technique required) Junior Company 11 - 14 yrs. 3.5 (Ballet/Technique required) 585-254-0300

She continues to be innovative with our new Dance Company programs and her technical and fun style of teaching creates an enjoyable learning atmosphere.
KATHY WHITFIELD, Irish Dance Instructor - Kathy has been step dancing for over 20 years, the first ten of those in competition, where she competed in numerous feiseanna (Irish dance competition) and reached the Championship Level. Having watched many interested students leave Irish dancing because they wanted a less intense experience than that provided by competitive schools, as well as many adults frustrated by the tradition of excluding adults from step dance instruction, she started Rince Na Saor in 1997 as a means for students of all ages to study Irish dance in a more relaxed, recreational environment. She lives in Greece with her husband, Art, and her two sons, Kevin and Brendan.
